Tiesto Creates Remix For Game Developer ATARI

Bearing Tiësto’s signature epic sound, the remarkable remix for the game “Alone in the Dark Inferno” of Oliver’s Deriviere Bulgarian choir composition is said to “take the original soundtrack to the heart of the dance floor in an driving remix which bears the unmistakable hallmarks of Tiësto’s enormous sound: maximum euphoric and 100% dance floor orientated. “The original soundtrack is a great composition with a lot of ingredients which fit perfectly in the remix,” said Tiësto. “It was the first time for me to produce a remix for a videogame and therefore a great challenge, I enjoyed it a lot!.” Tiësto entered the video game market a few months ago after the launch of Streamline Records and Streamline Sounds, which aim to offer up and coming talents the chance to expose their music in the video game industry.

The remix and official video are now available worldwide on CD single, digital download and limited edition 12″ picture disc through retailers worldwide.

MGMT – Kids (Soulwax Remix)

MGMT has been weirdly riding the pop culture popularity wave since the very beginning despite reports of lackluster shows and the fact the album only had one good song. Well here that one great song is remixed by Soulwax. There are a lot of people eagerly awaiting Soulwax’s official remix of MGMT ‘s ‘Kids’ track. Only a chosen few have received promos thus far. From what I read the release date of this is October 13th. This is going to be huge!

Ripperton – Leonors Lanugo

First off, I’d like to congratulate Spain for winning Euro 2008. After 44 years I think they really deserved it.
Now back to our regular program. “Leonors Lanugo,” released on Perspectiv, this melodic minimal house track is really nice to listen to. Ripperton has been working on this tune during the 9 months of his girlfriends pregnancy. The melodies are mystorious, but loving and warm at the same time. It takes you on a journey and then opens up and becomes an aural experience. The release includes a dub by Anders Ilar.

Is it alright?

“It’s alright” was released yesterday June 26th on Vendetta Records with remixes by Miguel Picasso, Gold Ryan & Tapesh, Alex Gaudino and Jesse Garcia. Gadjo is the name of a DJ, producer and remixer Murat Arslan who is best known for his late 2005 hit “So Many Times.” He is also known for his remixes of Basement Jaxx tunes, but his carreer didn’t take off until Steve Angelo, Pete Tong, David Guetta, Seb Fontaine, Erick Morillo and Milk and Sugar all chose his music in their personal Top 10 DJ charts.

Playing at spots around the world like Cologne, Tel Aviv, Jakarta, Stockholm, Tokyo  or Kiev the greek artist Nikola Gala founded his own digital label Escada in 2006.  With his basslines and melodical flights for 10 years he’s thrilled on labels like Rena issance, Deep Records, Intrinsic, Sprout Music, Fokused, Presinct, Lost Language, Audio Therapy and more.. After the “System” release that was made with I-Kie, he returns to Plastic City, along with his minimal style house sound and a production called “Blueberry”.  BTW I really like Redberry, the track is great.

Don’t Wake Me Up!

This trancer is pretty hot, not a huge fan of these male vocals by Inger Hansen, but many of you will love it! Can’t wait to get my hands on the San Antonio Harbour Dub, hopefully it gets released soon.
