Fresh off the Axtone label, and supported widely by Axwell himself is this bangin’ new track from Abel Ramos and Miss Melody. The new smash single ‘Rotterdam City of Love’ features the original mix, an edit from Axwell himself, and a remix from Dimitri & Like Mike, known for their remix of Dave Lambert’s ‘Work Your Body’. Axwell coming off his fresh hit “What A Wonderful World” with Bob Sinclar and Ron Caroll, he doesn’t fail to impress with his edit that the Swedish House Mafia has been spinning for some time now. This is just one of a few tracks to watch for from the Axtone label as the long rumoured “Leave the World Behind” is breaching post-production. “Leave the World Behind” being the yearly SHM track in which Axwell,Angello and Ingrosso team up with legendary DJ Laidback Luke, the predecessor being “Get Dumb” released last May. “Rotterdam City of Love” is available for vinyl purchase on Juno Records and is set to be released officially on November the 7th.

Arno Cost & Axwell – Watch the Apocalypse

Great new collaboration of these two house genius’s respective tracks. The heavy pulsing beat at the beginning, followed by a melodic synth and then a huge beat drop makes this one of the best tracks I’ve heard all year. A friend in Vancouver told me Axwell dropped this in early October when he was there at Caprice, and the whole place nearly came down. As well, he told the same friend that he was taking 6 months off touring, so expect some huge records for the spring/summer.

Rui Da Silva is an electronic music producer. He runs Kismet Records, his own, successful, independent music label. He DJs all over the world. Rui has been involved in the music since he was a kid and in the music business since he started up the Kaos Records label in Portugal in the early 90s, with the label he kick started the dance scene in Portugal. Today he continues to produce club tracks and experimental electronic music always, as he puts it, “trying to change the sound and evolve as staying still gets me bored”. His newest tune “On My Mind” features Ben Onono.

Shiloh Sanction

As the Canadian house gods Shiloh adjust to shut themselves away in their studio to start working on the follow up album to their debut long played ‘Bleed‘, they have started to work with some up n coming producers to get the old creative juices going. They were so astonished with what they created during the sessions that they sent them to their friends at Baroque who were amazed too and signed this little album on the spot. A cross between an album and a single, this pack will take the second release in the new album series. Four different tracks (“Shiloh – Push“, “Shiloh And Derrick Wilson – VSOP“, “Shiloh And Marcus Zuhr – Boogie Nights“, “Shiloh And Steve Andres – Flywheel“), all with that Shiloh quality, with a different style provided by their mates… just amazing!

New Collaboration – Marco V and Sander van Doorn

Dance music collaborations happen everyday so it might come as a bit of a shocker that Marco V has never collaborated with anyone else, and neither has Sander van Doorn! The unplanned duo resulted after a chance visit by Sander to Marco’s recording studio, where the Dutch pair produced the track ‘Organic’. To follow on from this Marco V took a trip to the Doorn studios to record a second track to follow in the coming months, so keep your eyes peeled and your ears open!

With his basslines and melodical flights for 10 years he’s thrilled on labels like Rena issance, Deep Records, Intrinsic, Sprout Music, Fokused, Presinct, Lost Language, Audio Therapy and more.. After the “System” release that was made with I-Kie, he returns to Plastic City, along with his minimal style house sound and a production called “Blueberry”. BTW I really like Redberry, the track is great.
