Default Headphones?

I use Pioneer HDJ-1000's. theyre by far the best in my view. good sound quality, small and durable. had mine for about 2 years now and ive never had any problems with them.
have used Allen & Heath in the past and they were also good

Ultrasone S-Logic HFI-700 for both producing and deejaying, love the sound, but I would suggest the new AKG's, unbelievably great sound and comfy as hell.

I went and looked at the Denon HP1000's and the Pioneer HDJ-1000's. Both had fantastic sound, but the Pioneers had too small of speaker/ear holes for my liking. And they didn't sit well, so i bought the denon's. They're amazing and strap to my noggin' better than the v700's. They also cup a LOT like the old Sony MDR-NC50's big and full ear. Lov'em

Sennheiser HD25 are the best by far. All the big silver headphones from technics and pioneer are too heavy. They are wayy too big to hold on ur neck during a mix also. HD25's are 'The One!'

Just using some AKG's atm, but their not closed ear. Shouldn't dj headphones be closed ear?
