playing on the 1000's and then playing on any other pioneer decks makes u feel that u were driving a mercedes n went down to an oldsmobile...thats very true, especially if it's parallel to a djm 800 mixer, now thats the shit man....

i have 800s love them. really easy to use nothing is clutterd. closet thing to a 1000, so if u play in clubs and cant afford them, use the 800, its like using a 1000 with out the added little features. i can live with out the effects got a efx 1000.
but if you like having USB and effects then 400 is the way to go. Hey as long as its pioneer u know what your getting. cant fault anything i have bought from pioneer. |

The Jog of the 800s is better for scratch than the 400s.
I have a pair of 800s and two Technics 1210mk5 and I'm thinking to sell the 800 cause with Traktor or Serato I don't use the CDJ cause the time-code allows me to control the digital files with my Technics like in the old times with vinyl.... Time-code is not the future, is really the present man!!! In Spain where I'm from, thre is a tax on all the digital supports like Hard disks or CDs and DVDs cause this is a bit expensive to burn on it all the music I have in my PC (More than 200GB) |
