Here’s a preview of the new forum that I might be opening this week if everything gets done. Worked on it over the weekend and there are still some minor edits that need to be done. Forum will be running on the latest version of vbulletin with extra addons like the Hide Hack which will let users hide links from leechers. Click on the image for a slightly bigger preview. The forum is located here, but it’s currently closed for registrations. Let me know what you guys think.

As you may have noticed I have added a new box at the top of the left sidebar. This dropbox provided by SoundCloud.com will easily let you submit all your promos to Face The Musik. Now let me tell you how it works - by clicking the box you will be redirected to my SoundCloud account where you can upload your promo.

1. Click “Choose a file” and pick out the promo, but please try to have it in high quality (320kbps)

2. While the file is uploading put the track name in along with any additional info you can below it.

3. Put in your e-mail (you will have to confirm the upload before it is sent to us)

4. After the file is done uploading click Save Track, check your e-mail for the confirmation link from SoundCloud and click it.

Again please fill in as much information as you can and upload a high quality audio track. That makes life easier for us and increases your chances of getting on the blog.

I realized that some zip files uploaded to beem.to are corrupt.

Here’s a fix for the corrupt files with winrar:

Step 1: Double click on the file so it opens with winrar.
Step 2: Right click on one of the files and go to repair archive.
Step 3: Choose the folder where you want the new fixed file to go to, select Treat the corrupt archive as ZIP and click OK.
Step 4: It will start fixing the file, click close when done and go to the new file and extract.
Done!

I will reupload the files differently to see if they still get corrupt, if they do I will start using another website to upload to, so don’t worry all is fine! If you download any corrupt files please just leave a simple comment. Thanks!
