Sven Vath @ Cocoon Amsterdam

Sven Vath takes the crowd on an epic journey through future tech sounds at Cocoon in the Sands, Amsterdam.

About Sven Vanth

Since 1982, one man is shaking the dance floors all over the planet, being dressed extravagantly and dancing in a highly expressive way: Sven Vath. He got his fans in the important clubs as well as at the mega-events ; he toured South America, spinned in the East Asian jungle and is Cultural Ambassador of the German Goethe-Institut.

However, beneath his own career, Sven considers it extremely important to develop Electronic Music as such. Reoccurring pupation of a culture and constant re-definition of the different types of art, as well as their combination, are the visions of ‘The Godfather of Techno’ – made possible within his COCOON concept.

After last years’ success, COCOON will be extending its clubbing activities in Europe. Furthermore, the ‘Amnesia’ in Ibiza will be hosting the COCOON Club over the summer of 2002, including several performances of Sven Vath. Many of last season’s floor-burners have been compiled and mixed by Sven Vath resulting in ‘Sven Vath in the Mix – The Sound of the Second Season’ (released 11/19/2001) which represents also the second Mix-CD of Sven.

Currently, he is planning the world tour for his forthcoming album “Fire”. The first single “Je T’aime…moi non plus” shows a new side of Sven Vath.
