Coachella 2009 Dates Announced
Posted on 08. Oct, 2008 by Damian.

Coachella festival has set high benchmark for US based music festivals, the 2008 edition was clean, well organised with bad ass sound and lighting on different stages. The main stage even had surround sound, which they utilized just for Roger Waters (from Pink Floyd) set. The organisers of Coachella had this clever plastic bottle collection system where attendees who picked up 10 plastic bottles and delivered them to a recycling point were given a free bottle of water which resulted in a trash-free festival ground. Electronic music wise, German pioneers Kraftwerk performed on the main stage to an audience who looked slightly bemused but appreciative, whilst the dance tent pushed credible acts like Digweed & Sasha and Boys Noize.
The 2009 Coachella festival will take place from April 17 – 19th
