Josh Gabriel launches new label with Tone Program

Different Pieces is the brand new label headed by Josh Gabriel. As one half of Gabriel & Dresden, massive notoriety was gained for a unique sound that pushed boundaries and got people talking more than ever in heated debate. It seems with this new project from Gabriel the effect is going to be intensified as he heads up the first release with ‘Tone Program‘. The Original mix is a bit of a stormer with all the right pieces in place to make you want to shake. It’s subtly pounding with maximum effect provided by jaggedly tight melodies that stab out from the mix, if there’s one track you must have for stepping up the pace in your set then this is it. On the remix is Style Of Eye who doesn’t really hang about. With essences of the original he lays down one hell of a massive sound. As first releases go, it couldn’t be bigger than this. Both original and the remix should be firmly placed in you record bag to have close at hand when adrenalizing the mood.

After the huge success of the Black Dot EP with Hammer and Nails, and his remix of ‘Shnorkel‘ from Ido Ophir and Miki Litvak. Dousk returns with two massive tunes titled ‘Blender‘ and ‘Donut Drama‘. His previous releases with Hammer and Nails both made it up to number 2 and 4 respectively on Beatport, with his Shnorkel remix making it up to number 2 on the main homepage. If you’ve never heard of him, you’ve been hiding under a rock for way too long. He comes from Greece and he makes massive records and thats all you need to know. This package comes in 3 great mixes with a remix from a new artist we have discovered called Jakiro which is a funky techno beast.

Hi all, Thanks for all your encouraging messages of support over the past year, hopefully you’ve all enjoyed the music as much as I’ve enjoyed traveling around and playing it. There’s a poll that’s goin’ around these days that I’ve been told is important. Although its a DJ Poll and I’ve never played a record or CD in my life (Well maybe once) I’d really appreciate it if you could take the time to put a vote in for me. Just follow the below link. I’ll be doing the same , Although I’d much rather go and watch robot chicken… hang on, Jessi is screaming at me for some stupid…. argh… i gotta go, be back later.
